No waste collections on Monday 19 September

Residents of Tregony with Cuby should note that there will be no waste collections on Monday 19 September, the day of the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.

For black bag rubbish, residents will need to retain the waste until the next collection on Monday 26 September.

For recycling and garden waste, these collections will be made on Saturday 24 September.

Other Cornwall Council services on Monday are also affected:
• Council offices will be closed
• Household waste recycling centres will be closed
• Council owned leisure centres will be closed
• Buses will be operating a Sunday/Bank holiday service; Truro park and ride will be closed
• Schools will be closed
• Scheduled funerals at Penmount Crematorium will continue as planned
