Council Meetings
All parish councils must hold meetings open to the public. Tregony with Cuby met for the first time on Tuesday 18 May 2021. In the remainder of 2021/22, the council met on the second Monday of each month in Tregony Village Hall committee room. At the meeting in May 2022, it was resolved to continue to meet on the second Monday of each month but the venue to be changed to Tregony Church Hall in Back Lane. This is because of the better accessibility at the church hall for persons with limited mobility. This took effect from the meeting on 13 June 2022. Following the upgrades that have been carried out to the village hall, including the installation of a lift, the parish council will be returning to the village hall meeting room as from its meeting on Monday 11 November 2024.
At the start of each parish council meeting, there is an opportunity for members of the public to ask questions of the parish council or to make a statement about a particular issue.
For details of the format of parish council meetings, see Council standing orders
The Cemeteries and Burials Committee also meets in public 3-4 times a year.
Agendas and papers related to Full Council and Committee meetings are published on this website. Follow the link to a particular meeting and see the links to agenda and minutes (the latter being published on this website approximately a week after the meeting).
