Review of parliamentary boundaries

June 27th 2021

The Boundary Commission for England is the independent organisation responsible for reviewing Parliamentary constituency boundaries in England.

The commission is currently carrying out a review that is scheduled to complete its formal report and recommendations in June 2023. The first draft of proposals has been published and, in Cornwall, it is proposed that six parliamentary seats will remain with some small changes to boundaries in order to make them more equal in size in terms of the electorate in each constituency. The public are invited to comment on the proposals. Comments should be made by 2 August 2021.

Tregony with Cuby would stay in the Truro Falmouth constituency.
