Works carried out on trees on sports field

August 22nd 2023

Ash die back is a disease that has affected vast swathes of the population of ash trees across the UK over the past few years. A few months ago, after inspection of trees around the sports field in Tregony, 5 trees were identified as needing attention / felling/ removing. The necessary works were carried out by the parish council appointed contractor before the Heavy Horse Show was held on the sports field in early August.

The parish council will continue to monitor the health of the trees under its control and will carry out works as and when necessary.
